Laura Borger is an experienced Event Rider who has competed up to the second highest national level and qualified to compete at the international level for equestrian eventing.
Laura started riding at 8 years of age and started training for eventing in her early teens. At 16 Laura got her very talented horse JR off the steeplechase track. While retraining for equestrian eventing and dressage, she also started retraining other thoroughbreds off the track into eventing. Soon Laura was training with some of the world’s best riders and competing her personal horse at the upper levels.
Laura has also spent some time starting, training, and showing young Warmblood prospects bred for dressage and show jumping. While always being a fan of training the Thoroughbreds off the track or the young warmblood prospect, Laura has also taught lessons to various types of students including being active in teaching to local 4H and Pony Clubs as well as private students from teenagers to adult amateurs. Laura still trains with world renowned riders and continues to compete in eventing, dressage, and show jumping.
